WELCOME!
This site has been created in an effort to help IGCSE History students.
The content on this website is comprised of notes I made during my IGCSE and AS/AL preparations. These notes are from classes, research, assignments, textbooks etc. I obtained "A" grades in History.
At this time, I cannot provide references for information as I did not make proper note of that during the compilation of these study materials.
This site should merely be used to help you understand topics and not necessarily for research purposes.
This site does not cover every topic in the History syllabus.
Use the link to download your own copy of the History syllabus. http://www.cie.org.uk/qualifications/academic/middlesec/igcse/subject?assdef_id=864
Lets get started! Happy learning! :)

About Me
History has always been an important part of my learning and life. Throughout high school, it was my favourite subject. I sat the IGCSE exams in June 2011 and obtained a Grade A in History. I went on to take the AS/AL exams the following two years.
Currently, I am in my final year of my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree majoring in History and International Development Studies in Canada. I have taken a broad range of History courses including courses on Medieval Europe, the Renaissance, Latin America, US History, Southern Africa, Modern Europe, Nazism, history of Incarceration, Women's History, and Canadian History.
I am the current President of the Undergraduate History Society at my university. In this role, I work with a team of 10 people and faculty members to plan various initiatives that promote History and create opportunities to explore it in engaging and unique ways outside of the classroom.
I also work with an academic transition support program in which I support new students in their transition to university life through academic goal setting, time management, study skills, motivation, mental well-being etc.
